A one-of-a-kind reversible Raya shawl, handcrafted by Rayana from reclaimed sari cloth.
As founder of Sari for Change, Rayana carefully rescues treasured textiles once worn and loved, selecting fabrics for their beauty, softness, and story. She then handcrafts each Raya shawl herself - thoughtfully pairing contrasting textiles, stitching every seam by hand, and transforming forgotten cloth into wearable art.
This regal piece unites two richly expressive silk textiles. One side glows in luminous ivory silk, framed by an opulent royal purple brocade border woven with intricate floral motifs in silver and gold-toned zari. The reverse reveals a deeper plum silk with delicate woven striping and heritage-inspired geometric detailing, creating a more understated yet equally elegant mood.
Reversible by design, it offers two distinct looks in one: luminous ceremonial elegance on one side, refined jewel-toned sophistication on the other.
Lightweight, breathable, and naturally graceful, it drapes beautifully for celebrations, evening wear, or everyday luxury.
No two are ever alike.

One-of-One Craftsmanship
Every Sari for Change garment is entirely one-of-one.
Crafted from reclaimed heritage textiles, each piece carries its own history, character, and unique markings. Variations in weave, embroidery, texture, colour, and minor imperfections are part of the beauty of the regenerative process and should not be considered faults.
These characteristics are a reflection of the textile's journey and make each garment impossible to replicate.
