A one-of-a-kind reversible Raya shawl, handcrafted by Rayana from reclaimed silk sari cloth.
One side brings together deep crimson and emerald-green silk, punctuated by expressive tie-dyed motifs in flashes of yellow, turquoise, violet and pink. The irregular pattern gives the textile a beautifully painterly quality, preserving the character of the original sari.
It reverses to a luminous pairing of jewel green and marigold yellow. Tiny woven florals scatter across the marigold silk, while a subtle tonal pattern emerges from the green as it catches the light.
Lightweight, fluid and beautifully draped, each Raya gives treasured sari cloth another life. No two are ever alike.
