As founder of Sari for Change, Rayana rescues treasured textile remnants once worn and loved, selecting pieces for their softness, beauty, and enduring story. She then creates each Raya shawl herself - pairing contrasting fabrics, hand-stitching every join, and transforming precious fragments into something whole once more.
This piece brings together an ethereal emerald chiffon-organza blend, softly sheer and weightless, adorned with tonal floral motifs and delicate embellishment. It is paired with a smooth silk reverse in warm ivory, printed with bold jade botanical forms that create striking contrast. Reversible by design, it offers two distinct expressions in one - airy softness on one side, sculptural elegance on the other.
Shaped by Rayana’s hands from cloth that has been worn, weathered, mended, and loved, it reflects the resilience, sacrifice, and quiet beauty woven through motherhood.
