One-of-one garment. Crafted in Johannesburg. Reclaimed heritage textiles. DHL worldwide shipping

A one-of-a-kind Japanese knot bag handcrafted from a reclaimed Banarasi sari, giving new life to a textile traditionally treasured for its richness and intricate detail.

Vibrant saffron-yellow silk is contrasted with an intricately woven silver border, allowing the original detailing of the sari to become part of the design. Finished with a generous sweep of bronze-toned fringe, the softly gathered silhouette brings together rich colour, texture and movement.

The distinctive uneven handles allow one to slip through the other, creating the signature knotted closure and an easy wrist carry. Designed for celebrations, dinners and evenings out, each bag is entirely unique, shaped by the sari from which it was made.

One-of-One Craftsmanship

Every Sari for Change garment is entirely one-of-one.

Crafted from reclaimed heritage textiles, each piece carries its own history, character, and unique markings. Variations in weave, embroidery, texture, colour, and minor imperfections are part of the beauty of the regenerative process and should not be considered faults.

These characteristics are a reflection of the textile's journey and make each garment impossible to replicate.
