One of a kind, crafted from reclaimed silk, this kimono features a rich rust-red base patterned with repeating ivory paisley motifs, creating a warm, intricate surface throughout. Contrasting striped borders in rust, ochre and deep brown frame the neckline and front opening, adding definition to the flowing silhouette.
The wide sleeves are finished with ornate floral borders in soft champagne and black, introducing another element of the original sari and highlighting the beauty of its contrasting patterns. A coordinating self-tie belt combines the different motifs, allowing the kimono to be worn open or cinched at the waist. The silk has a smooth finish and fluid drape, giving the piece an elegant sense of movement.
Designed with wide Bell sleeves, the silhouette is relaxed yet polished, balancing traditional kimono proportions with a contemporary approach to reclaimed textile design.
