A one-of-a-kind reversible Raya shawl, handcrafted by Rayana from reclaimed silk sari cloth.
Created through her work with Sari for Change, each piece begins with carefully sourced vintage saris-chosen for their beauty, texture, and history. Rayana then reimagines them by hand, transforming these fragments into something entirely new while preserving their story.
This shawl pairs a deep plum silk woven with fine gold pinstripes and traditional circular motifs-rich, structured, and quietly regal-with a soft blush-mauve silk on the reverse, accented by a luminous gold border and delicate scattered detailing. The contrast is striking yet harmonious: one side bold and graphic, the other gentle and understated.
Fluid, lightweight, and effortlessly elegant, it drapes with ease and intention. Each fold reveals a different mood, a different story-making it as versatile as it is meaningful. No two are ever alike.

One-of-One Craftsmanship
Every Sari for Change garment is entirely one-of-one.
Crafted from reclaimed heritage textiles, each piece carries its own history, character, and unique markings. Variations in weave, embroidery, texture, colour, and minor imperfections are part of the beauty of the regenerative process and should not be considered faults.
These characteristics are a reflection of the textile's journey and make each garment impossible to replicate.
