A one-of-a-kind reversible Raya shawl, handcrafted by Rayana from reclaimed silk sari cloth.
As founder of Sari for Change, Rayana rescues treasured sari remnants once worn and loved, selecting pieces for their softness, history, rain-washed colour, and delicate details. She then creates each Raya shawl herself - pairing contrasting silks, hand-stitching every join, and transforming forgotten fragments into something whole once more.
This shawl brings together an ivory silk scattered with painterly aqua, rose, and olive motifs, contrasted by a deep midnight reverse framed with a bold botanical border. Reversible by design, it offers two expressions in one.
Shaped by Rayana’s hands from cloth that has been worn, weathered, mended, and loved, it reflects the resilience, sacrifice, and quiet beauty woven through motherhood.
Soft, featherlight, and effortless to drape, no two are ever alike.

One-of-One Craftsmanship
Every Sari for Change garment is entirely one-of-one.
Crafted from reclaimed heritage textiles, each piece carries its own history, character, and unique markings. Variations in weave, embroidery, texture, colour, and minor imperfections are part of the beauty of the regenerative process and should not be considered faults.
These characteristics are a reflection of the textile's journey and make each garment impossible to replicate.
