One-of-one garment. Crafted in Johannesburg. Reclaimed heritage textiles. DHL worldwide shipping

Crafted from a luxurious silk Banarasi sari, this piece features a deep midnight black base adorned with delicate gold woven motifs scattered throughout. Crisp ivory piping traces the lapels, pockets, cuffs and front opening, creating a striking contrast that highlights the trench's clean lines and tailored structure.

Intricate Banarasi border detailing has been thoughtfully preserved and incorporated into the collar, pockets, cuffs and inner front panel, revealing flashes of warm gold, copper and amber tones that celebrate the textile's original artistry. These carefully placed accents bring depth and richness to the garment while maintaining its sophisticated, contemporary appeal.

Lightweight with a fluid drape, the trench can be worn open for effortless layering or cinched at the waist for a more defined silhouette. Equally suited to elevated everyday dressing and special occasions, it is a timeless statement piece designed to be worn across seasons.

Size: Medium (UK 10–12)

Fabric: Silk Banarasi Sari with Gold Woven Motifs

The reverse showcases the sari's subtle gold motifs against the rich black ground, complemented by heritage border detailing at the collar and cuffs. The result is a garment that feels considered and beautiful from every angle, honouring the craftsmanship of the original textile.

Styling Tip: Pair with tonal black tailoring and boots for an effortlessly polished look, or layer over soft neutrals to allow the intricate Banarasi borders and ivory piping to take centre stage.

As with every Sari for Change piece, this trench exists entirely one-of-one - thoughtfully reimagined from reclaimed heritage textiles and designed to be worn, treasured and passed on for generations.
