A one-of-a-kind reversible Raya shawl, handcrafted by Rayana from reclaimed silk sari cloth.
As founder of Sari for Change, Rayana rescues treasured sari remnants once worn and loved, selecting pieces for their softness, history, and enduring beauty. She then creates each Raya shawl herself - pairing contrasting silks, hand-stitching every join, and transforming precious fragments into something whole once more.
This piece pairs a soft rose-pink silk adorned with delicate floral and geometric sari patterns, its surface gently luminous with a fluid, graceful drape. It is contrasted by a muted lilac silk reverse, patterned with fine wave-like lines and scattered mint-toned accents, offering a quieter, contemporary feel. A narrow turquoise edge and a gold-woven border bring the two sides together with subtle richness. Reversible by design, it offers two distinct expressions in one-romantic and ornate on one side, calm and understated on the other.
Soft, featherlight, and fluid to drape, no two are ever alike.

One-of-One Craftsmanship
Every Sari for Change garment is entirely one-of-one.
Crafted from reclaimed heritage textiles, each piece carries its own history, character, and unique markings. Variations in weave, embroidery, texture, colour, and minor imperfections are part of the beauty of the regenerative process and should not be considered faults.
These characteristics are a reflection of the textile's journey and make each garment impossible to replicate.
