One-of-one garment. Crafted in Johannesburg. Reclaimed heritage textiles. DHL worldwide shipping

A one-of-a-kind reversible Raya shawl, handcrafted by Rayana from reclaimed sari cloth.

As founder of Sari for Change, Rayana carefully rescues treasured textiles once worn and loved, choosing fabrics for their beauty, softness, and enduring story. She then handcrafts each Raya shawl herself - thoughtfully pairing contrasting materials, stitching every seam by hand, and giving forgotten cloth a new life as wearable art.

This luminous piece brings together two joyful expressions of silk. One side glows in fresh leaf green with a subtle woven dot texture and rich fluid drape. The reverse bursts with painterly color - deep emerald accented by vibrant splashes of crimson, saffron, violet, and gold, finished with a delicate metallic border.

Reversible by design, it offers two moods in one: refined understated elegance on one side, artistic vibrance on the other.

Lightweight, breathable, and naturally elegant, it moves beautifully from casual daytime styling to evening sophistication.

No two are ever alike.

One-of-One Craftsmanship

Every Sari for Change garment is entirely one-of-one.

Crafted from reclaimed heritage textiles, each piece carries its own history, character, and unique markings. Variations in weave, embroidery, texture, colour, and minor imperfections are part of the beauty of the regenerative process and should not be considered faults.

These characteristics are a reflection of the textile's journey and make each garment impossible to replicate.
