A one-of-a-kind reversible Raya shawl, handcrafted by Rayana from reclaimed sari silk.
As founder of Sari for Change, Rayana rescues treasured textiles once worn and loved, selecting fabrics for their beauty, softness, and story. She then handcrafts each Raya shawl herself - pairing complementary textiles, stitching every seam by hand, and transforming forgotten cloth into wearable art.
This radiant piece features a vivid crimson silk body scattered with delicate hand-tied bandhani-style motifs in gold and blush tones, giving it movement, texture, and artisanal charm. The reverse reveals a striking magenta silk panel framed by an ornate woven border in antique gold, navy, and rose - inspired by classic ceremonial sari craftsmanship.
Reversible by design, it offers two moods in one: bold minimalist elegance on one side, heritage richness on the other.
Lightweight, breathable, and fluid, it drapes beautifully for festive occasions, evening wear, travel, or everyday statement styling.
No two are ever alike.

One-of-One Craftsmanship
Every Sari for Change garment is entirely one-of-one.
Crafted from reclaimed heritage textiles, each piece carries its own history, character, and unique markings. Variations in weave, embroidery, texture, colour, and minor imperfections are part of the beauty of the regenerative process and should not be considered faults.
These characteristics are a reflection of the textile's journey and make each garment impossible to replicate.
