One-of-one garment. Crafted in Johannesburg. Reclaimed heritage textiles. DHL worldwide shipping

Crafted from a reclaimed cotton Baluchari sari, this one-of-a-kind kimono features a soft ivory silk base adorned with intricate woven motifs of deer moving through the forest - symbols traditionally associated with gentleness, intuition, and harmony with nature. Rich crimson borders and ornate narrative detailing frame the garment, while delicate gold woven accents add subtle luminosity throughout.

Traditionally woven in Bengal, Baluchari textiles are celebrated for their storytelling craftsmanship, where scenes and symbolism are woven directly into the silk. Reimagined into a contemporary silhouette, this piece preserves the artistry of the original sari while carrying its story into a new form.

The open-front design allows for effortless layering, while the relaxed silhouette and classic straight sleeves create ease and versatility. Detailed border work across the hem and back panel adds depth, movement, and artisanal richness to the piece.

One-of-One Craftsmanship

Every Sari for Change garment is entirely one-of-one.

Crafted from reclaimed heritage textiles, each piece carries its own history, character, and unique markings. Variations in weave, embroidery, texture, colour, and minor imperfections are part of the beauty of the regenerative process and should not be considered faults.

These characteristics are a reflection of the textile's journey and make each garment impossible to replicate.
