One-of-one garment. Crafted in Johannesburg. Reclaimed heritage textiles. DHL worldwide shipping

Some traditions travel across oceans. Others are carried through generations.

Inspired by the grandfather of Sari for Change's Creative Director, Iman Ganijee, the Lungi Set celebrates the connection between clothing, culture and belonging.

The lungi, a traditional cloth wrapped around the waist across South Asia, shares a spirit of simplicity and versatility with the Kenyan khanga and Malay sarong, connecting cultures through the art of wrapping.

Crafted from an upcycled Madras sari, the set features a soft champagne-beige base with subtle woven motifs and striking violet and magenta striped borders.

The sleeveless top, finished with contrasting violet shoulder ties, pairs with a wrap-style skirt featuring an elegant draped front panel and button fastening. Lightweight and breathable, each piece can be worn together or separately.

A piece of heritage, reimagined for the stories you'll make your own.

One-of-One Craftsmanship

Every Sari for Change garment is entirely one-of-one.

Crafted from reclaimed heritage textiles, each piece carries its own history, character, and unique markings. Variations in weave, embroidery, texture, colour, and minor imperfections are part of the beauty of the regenerative process and should not be considered faults.

These characteristics are a reflection of the textile's journey and make each garment impossible to replicate.
