Inspired by the grandfather of Sari for Change's Creative Director, Iman Ganijee, the Lungi Set celebrates the connection between clothing, culture and belonging.
The lungi, a traditional cloth wrapped around the waist across South Asia, shares a spirit of simplicity and versatility with the Kenyan khanga and Malay sarong, connecting cultures through the art of wrapping.
Crafted from an upcycled Madras sari, the set features rich crimson and vibrant pink checks with delicate gold floral motifs and ornate gold borders, celebrating the beauty of traditional textile craftsmanship.
The sleeveless top, finished with delicate shoulder ties, pairs with a wrap-style skirt featuring an elegant draped front panel. Lightweight and breathable, each piece can be worn together or separately.
