Crafted from upcycled Banarasi saris, it features intricate gilded threads, silver embroidery, and luxurious silk organza. Cascading frills create graceful movement, flowing behind you like a poetic statement of elegance and strength. Inspired by Cape Malay women—from Malaysia and Indonesia to South Africa—this kimono is a fusion of tradition and contemporary style.
Fabric:
A combination of an upcycled Banarasi sari, the original sari taking up to 6 months to create due to its fine silver embroidery, silk and brocade sari. Turquoise and pink with beaded details.
