A celebration of rich colour and intricate craftsmanship, this off-shoulder dress is crafted from a repurposed embroidered silk sari in a deep burnt orange hue. The silk has a luminous, fluid finish, scattered with delicate gold embroidered motifs that lead into an ornate floral border at the hem - preserving one of the most beautiful elements of the original sari.
The gathered elasticated neckline creates a relaxed, flowing silhouette and allows the dress to be worn on or off the shoulder. Voluminous balloon sleeves taper gently at the elasticated cuffs, while a contrasting golden-yellow silk tie at the neckline adds a playful finishing detail, complete with delicate bead embellishments.
Cut in a free-size, full-length silhouette, the dress falls effortlessly from the neckline, allowing the natural lustre and movement of the silk to take centre stage. The placement of the original embroidery makes each piece entirely unique.
