A collaboration between Sari for Change and Zimmerman & Co., the Babouche Collection reimagines one of the world's most enduring silhouettes through the lens of circular design.
Inspired by the traditional Moroccan babouche, each pair is handcrafted using carefully curated offcuts from reclaimed vintage saris - giving new purpose to the smallest remnants of heritage textiles that might otherwise go to waste. Every shoe is completely one of a kind, preserving the artistry, colour and history woven into each fabric.
Delicate embroidery, hand-applied embellishments and rich woven silks transform discarded fragments into collectible pieces that honour both tradition and innovation.

I bought my first garment in December 2023, and I've lost count after 20. My collection keeps growing - there are always new garments I fall in love with.
